Cranes
These paintings of The N.Y. Times, folded into origami cranes, are seemingly random compositions of the news of the day. Manipulating what portions of text and images are exposed creates a new narrative; the cranes reveals an abridged version of a larger picture, a note. The viewer completes the story or creates a new one, based on their own experiences, opinions, and biases.
